Term 3 2020 Creative workshop for kids 5 to up

The classes will develop your child’s art-making practices and nourish their imaginations while they learn Spanish. Students will be exposed to a range of different mediums and develop artistic skills in having fun.

The workshops will focus on basic media: collage, drawing, painting, printmaking, and construction with paper.

Activity: Collage and acrylic/ parts of my face in Spanish

During our first workshop, the children learned about different art techniques such as collage and acrylic painting while learning the names of the different face parts in Spanish. 

Our classes are an excellent way for kids (and adults) to develop their creativity while learning Spanish at the same time.

Art can develop their creativity, confidence, problem-solving, perseverance,

concentration, non-verbal communication, self-expression, physical and

cognitive skills.  

One of the best thinks of Art is that is a not ended process,

the children are participating in the ongoing activity and they can be in charge of

their own creation. Among all types of art,

I have chosen collage because is the most flexible way to experiment and create.

The children, for instance, can develop a wide sort of skills that are

very important for their life and learning Spanish languages.
